Some settings (like dark mode) are saved to your account, not in cookies. We don’t use analytics cookies.
Advertising (only when an ad is shown)
Free users can watch short rewarded ads to unlock features, and may see small display ads. Google ads come from Google Ad Manager and are always requested as non-personalised, with Google’s child or teen age treatment, because many of our users are students. If you choose Accept all, Google may set cookies such as __gads, __gpi and IDE for frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention, and in the EU/UK it may show its own consent message. If you choose Essential only, we ask Google for limited ads, which don’t use ad cookies. Our own promotions set no cookies.
